Such a beautiful fucking city. Really proud to be Mancunian right now, but under such circumstances is so gut wrenching. So proud of the tolerence and attitude of the people who call Manchester home. No matter where you come from or how you got here. It is such a diverse and culturally rich place. As anxious and scared as I feel for me, my family, my friends and all the others I share this world with. I will not shrink away or cower. Lets stand too against those who would try to force that on us. This is not out of hatred but simply because we shall not accept it. Our parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, uncles and aunties, sons and daughters faught and defeated fascism, from here, the commonwealth and all other corners of the earth. They did not do so, so we could live in fear or grow intolerent, but so that we should live life unimpeded and in safety. There is still lots wrong in this world. Now more than ever is it time to lift our fucking heads, front up and graft harder than ever. So goodness willing the generations to come will live a much more fair and safe existance.
