★ Donovan’s favorite color is red.
★ Most of the time, Don will dress for comfort rather than appearances. At work, he keeps it a professional sort of casual, but once he gets home, the pants come off and he’s in shorts, socks, and a tank top (unless his heater’s acting up, but that’s what snuggies are for //shot)
★ Don likes watching TV shows along the lines of Modern Marvels and How It’s Made, but when he gets bored of that, he’s stuck either between comedy shows or dramas (if it’s a dramedy, even better)
★ When he’s watching TV, he usually has a snack on hand. His standard snack fare consists of popcorn or chips (usually chips).
★ Don’s pretty slow to anger, but once you’ve got him pissed off, it takes just as long to get him to cool down again.
★ When he’s mad, Donovan’s not much of a rational thinker. He’ll need to excuse himself from a situation so he doesn’t either end up saying something he’ll regret or punching something.
★ He’s gotten into one fistfight in his life before, and that was when he was a teenager. The offending kid was making fun of Don’s brother, and wound up with a broken nose, two black eyes, and a missing tooth. Don walked away from that fight with an equally black eye, a dislocated nose, and a split lip.
★ In high school, Donovan played football (American-style football, not soccer) for two years. At his physical exam leading into his potential third year, he was pretty much told that he couldn’t play or else he was going to end up permanently fucking up his knees.
★ Since then, Don hasn’t really done a ton by way of athletic activity. His job—the fabricating part of it, anyway—is still somewhat active, but outside of that, he doesn’t often go out and participate in crazy-physical activities.
★ He will still take part in the annual snowball battle. Each year he tries to improve on his previous designs for snowball cannons. When he builds a new model, he’ll sell the old one (as long as it actually works. Otherwise it just gets junked).
★ In games or competitions, Don is hella competitive. He’ll talk a lot of shit and taunt the heck out of his opponent, but it’s really all just smack-talk. So long as his opponent played a fair game, win or lose, he’ll congratulate them afterwards.
★ Donovan’s favorite food to make (when he actually makes his own food) is some sort of soup. It’s hot, it makes enormous amounts of food, and it’s virtually impossible to mess it up.
★ When he’s got company over, Don’s really generous with his food. Guests are welcome to help themselves to anything that’s in the fridge or the cabinets…Which usually ends up being leftovers, junk food, and the stray ingredients that were supposed to be for some recipe but they never got used for some reason.
★ Donovan dreads taking the train whenever he goes to Desert Biome. Usually he stays up pretty much the entire night before having to take it so that he’ll be too exhausted to worry much and then pass out once they get moving. He also makes sure to load his playlist with distracting music so that he doesn’t have to think about where he is.
