I love asexual people so so so much. I respect the hell out of them. Two of my best friends in the whole world are ace. One of which I had a MASSIVE crush on.

But I can not be in a strictly monogamous relationship with someone who is asexual. That would be doing a disservice to them and to me. I am hyper sexual. I NEED physically intimate sexual relationships in order to feel loved.

Me not wanted to be in a monogamous relationship does not make me aphobic. It makes me self respecting. I’m not going to let anyone tell me that I have to put my needs second to be a good ally.

It’s ok to have boundries. And here’s something really important. ITS OKAY TO WANT SEX.
