Personally, I think we let this go way too quickly. Yuu is going berserk (loud as hell), and this man thinks its Guren snoring. Are you that used to him sleeping by your side?
rip Shinya, you would've loved knowing Guren ended the entire world just to see you again and when you died the second time he gave up on the very cause that led you there to join you in death, finally fulfilling his promise.
Hi guys im not back but i wanna put some of my artworks here LOL dont mind~
here's a gureshin for the sake of old times
you’re not sorry
*rubs the scar on my forehead that gives me an inherent connection to the wilderness* The foils between Mahiru and Shinya that dictate the course of the guren ichinose light novels even as Kagami never directly explores their relationship or even either of them as characters that exist outside of Guren .... Mahiru's arc in cat16 being about how she was being Changed and slowly corrupted from the inside as she sought to upend the world herself, while Shinya's was about exploring his sense of self and not letting the world change or jeopardize that to the very end ......... Mahiru having to succumb to the Powers That Be even if it's just to enact her grand plan while not even God's world-ending taboo can wake Shinya up after he's already chosen to die ....... Mahiru telling Guren he has to get stronger while Shinya tells him to stay weak if it means he'll stay as Guren ........ Shinya being physically restored but not being in the same place as Guren mentally due to the conditions of the Resurrection, while Mahiru no longer has a body but is fully conscious with Guren, and both of them haunt Guren as dead-but-not-gone figures regardles ................
Best MM Ship Ever: GROUP 1 - Round 2

Ok I’m like… curious what yall think, I made this allll the way back in 2023–my otp GureShin/GurenxShinya from seraph of the end/owair no seraph for Gurens birthday… I’m very insecure about my writing… especially now that i have an oc and a whole universe… but this is the VERY VERY first thing I ever wrote!
(If it’s good should I post to ao3? The GureShin tag there is so dead)
~ Guren’s 16th Birthday ~
It was like every other year for Guren, but he knew that this would be his last time for this particular occasion. It was nearly 12 a.m., in just a few moments it would be his birthday, and Guren was on his couch alone watching whatever random stupid show was on the TV, while Sayuri and Shigure were fast asleep in their beds.
All the sudden he heard a knock coming from his front door. He immediately tensed, “Who the hell could that be?“ he muttered to himself. He sat back down on his couch realizing that it was probably just a random noise from outside. After all, no one would come to his apartment this late at night…right?
But a moment later, he heard it again. So this time he grabbed his sword and went to the front door, he then looked out the peek-hole and saw the only person insane enough to grace his presence this late in the night. He opened the door, about to ask exactly why this person was standing in his doorway this late after-hours; as he confronted the overly enthusiastic face of Shinya Hiiragi.
He’d never admit it, but Shinya was his best friend—even though a small part of him was tempted to stab him with the sword he was still wielding for randomly coming to his house in the darkest and quietest time of night—though before he could even get a word out, he was met with Shinya’s smile and a very enthusiastic “Happy Birthday Gureeen~“
“What the hell, Shinya?” Guren rubbed his hand down his face in exasperation, “It’s too late for this, go home and sleep.“ Guren would be lying if he said he was completely annoyed by appearance of the snowy-white haired boy.
“I just wanted to be the first person to say Happy Birthday to you!“ Shinya replied, shoving a watch in Guren’s face. Sure enough, it was exactly midnight on his Birthday.
A part of Guren wondered exactly how long Shinya was standing there waiting for the exact time to hit. Another part of him was processing the fact that the first words he’d spoken in his 16th and possibly last year of life were “What the hell, Shinya?” though he wasn’t too hung up on that considering that those words were definitely going to continue to be his most commonly used sentence this year anyway.
Stopping him in his thoughts, Shinya strutted past Guren into the apartment. Guren groaned and shut the door before following after him. He knew trying to convince him to go home would be wasted effort, so instead Guren tried to suppress his smile at the fact that his closest friend remembered his Birthday despite Guren refusing to even mention the occasion….
“Thank you Shinya.“ Guren said softly. Shinya was caught off guard, he wasn’t expecting the mighty and independent Guren Ichinose to openly express appreciation, the still hyper boy’s smile grew as he responded, “You’re welcome!“
Guren proved himself right about it being pointless to try and send Shinya home, and though he would never admit it, he was glad for the company.
That night, having nothing else to do, they opted to sit on Guren’s couch and continue watching whatever inane thing was on the TV now, and Guren was fine with that.
Later that morning, Sayuri and Shigure awoke to find Guren and Shinya passed out in front of the TV. Guren spread out on the couch, while Shinya had somehow found his way to the floor, and appeared to have fallen flat on his face. Both girls got out blankets, one to place over their master and friend, and the other to place over Shinya, who’s face was still shoved into the carpet, as a final comfort to him before they killed him for not only showing up at who-knows-when at night, but also because Sayuri knew that Shinya had ruined her plan to be the first to wish Guren a happy birthday.
