Review One: Don't Stop Dancing (from Bojack Horseman)

I believe this song is sung by Stephanie Beatrice (the character Gina's voice actor).

This song received a 7/10 on my first review and I stand by that still.

The song is quite catchy and shines a particularly interesting light on Bojack's perspective on his fame and his life. It keeps consistent energy but slowly builds up through that song, increasing the energy all the way to the final line where Gina states "nothing's certain but the curtain". This of course refers to the falling of a curtain at the end of a show or performance, this concept is used in the song to refer to how the only things that Bojack can rely on are his career someday ending, and maybe even that his own life my fall the same fate.

Even if you haven't watched Bojack Horseman and have zero interest in doing so I highly recommend this song, it's a really good interest even if the number rating I gave makes it seem less appealing.

I just realized...when Sarah Lynn sings the “Don’t Stop Dancing Reprise” she calls BoJack “old sport.” That was the nickname Gatsby used to call Nick Carraway. Gatsby died in a pool. O_O
