So I'm posting this not because it's something that I'm experiencing personally at the moment, but actually something that I feel like the enemy brought back to memory right now because I can relate to this experience and feeling. This post, reminds me that when things seem to be going right it's always those moments without, those moments of fear, or maybe even just those moments of uncertainty, could you even be the anticipation of something new, but basically my point is it started to reminded me of the time in my life when I decided I was going to be guarded toward women. I was going to be mindful of how I went about interacting and socializing with those of the opposite sex. Strangely enough, at a time of my life where things seem to be going pretty well I instantly went back to the thought of, "That's why I would rather just be alone, and befriend a woman." I got tired of feeling like I would give the world to someone, that wouldn't even blow a match out for me... Somewhere in the midst of that thought though, I heard something say, "But how is that showing love?" It's not, and never will be. When you let the effects & experiences of your past protect you, shield you, and guard you from moments and opportunities in your future that could possibly stir up those feelings and experienced emotions of heartbreak, you destroy any chance of experiencing the greater outcome/ending. They could have turned out to show you the good outcome of those moments and opportunities, but because you were protected from past experiences you now will never know how that new experience could have ended because you won't even let it get to that point now in fear of not having a lovelier outcome then you did in the past... I remember what brought me to the point where I can relate to something like this! But I know WHO brought me through that storm in my life, and every other battle I have had to face in this lifetime. I can rejoice that I no longer feel underappreciated and inadequate... #trustingGod #christiancontentcreator #dontbelievethelie #hewillalwaystrytodeceiveyoubytellingyouyourdoubtsaretrue #christian #hetriedmyGod (at Tucson, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/CYGQjpRLbNF/?utm_medium=tumblr
