Voice your opinion. Don’t Cyberbully.
Good day folks!
Yesterday something happened on the internet. Yep, “the same o’ same o’”. Someone said something inappropriate and everyone jumped to this person’s throat. And I have to be honest, in my personal opinion, it was a horrible statement. DID YOU KNOW WHAT I DID NEXT!? I simply “physically” ignored this person. You now, like when you change the channel on TV when you see something on the tube that you don’t like. The same applies online. Don’t like something, just don’t visit or say anything about this person online. Ignore/mute/block.
Yes, you have the right to denounce this “ugly” people when they do horrible things. But keep in mind that sometimes when you voice your opinion about something it can backfire like the person who made that horrible comment. And this is why I’m not going to promote this person or what it did, although you probably know by now. In my personal opinion, I think that this person got no capacity, but is no excuse for the horrible thing that was said.
And I’m getting to the point of this blog: Cyberbullying is not going to change what it was said, makes you look like you have less capacity than this person, and makes you worse than this person.
The best thing to do is ignore and don’t say any good or bad of this person around here. Like most thing on the internet, it will dissipate.
Let’s just applaud and support people doing good stuff instead. Like everybody who was involved in in the St. Jude Play LIVE (check here for info: http://fundraising.stjude.org/site/PageServer?pagename=playlive_home ).
So that’s it friends. My 2 cents about the whole situation. Have a nice day!
