Keeping it Together || Ava & Hunter
It was always a tough balance for Ava. Being her confident self, but not overly so. She could be aggressive when needed, but it was often times hard to reign that back in. That seemed to be the direction this was going, right now. She was restless, it had been a long day, and the wolf inside of her was just clawing to get out. She’d gone for a run, in hopes of calming that need inside of her, but it only seemed to be growing. She didn’t know what to do about it.
She’d pushed herself to the point of near exhaustion, but she still felt it. It was a bit overwhelming, which was how she ended up looking for a drink and maybe some company. She needed something to keep her mind off of it all, but as she sat at the bar, her mind just swirled with the darkness inside of her. It was begging to come out, and she clenched her hand a little bit, tucking her hair back behind her ears, and closing her eyes.
Keep calm. Just breathe.
She caught a whiff of someone new though, and her nostrils flared, and her eyes flickered, as she glanced around her. Her lips curled into a bit of a snarl.
“You’re new,” she said simply, eyeing the stranger.
