A party, that's the plan my dear Homestucks
Are you interested in going on a treasure hunt with Vriska? How about participating in a fashion show with Kanaya? Or maybe even a tea party with Nepeta and Equius?
These are only a few of the events we have planned. In fact, these are only a very small amount of the events we have planned. We have just about one event for every pre and post scratch troll and kid. Some are even hosted by two characters.
Think about this as less of a party and more of a small scale outside convention. For Homestuck. With panels and events, and even a concession stand.
Of course, something this big could not be pushed into one day, oh no. This will most likely be pushed into a two or three day weekend (it has not yet been decided how this will best work).
And here comes the tricky part.... the funds.
That's right, we would need funding for this to work. Donations and sales from currently undecided items would need to be made to make this possible.
Think about it, we would need to purchase prizes, snacks, rent tables and chairs, buy supplies for the events, possibly pay a renting fee for the park, possibly pay the actors, and probably a bunch of other stuff that needs funding. A donations button will be put up later, hopefully.
Without this funding, nothing can happen!!
Okay, good, now that that's out of the way we need actors.Many, many actors. In order for there to even be any events with characters, we actually need characters. This may seem unfair but we are first going to ask people that we know are reliable to join the cast, and then we are going to hold open auditions. A casting call list will be sent out later.
Please keep in mind that it will not be first some first serve.
We will be picking the cast by acting skill and cosplay quality. We must ask that the cosplay be of the characters default outfit or their dream outfit (exceptions might be made for the kids, we are unsure).
This is all that is really to be said right now, but this blog will be updated frequently. Also, asks are open so if you have a question please do not hesitate to ask. The blog is currently under construction too, so the tabs will be fixed and more will be added to it.
