That moment when:

Your professor comments on your bow ties are cool shirt and then asks if you’re a general fan of bow ties or if there was a reason for it. And I was like. It’s from Doctor Who and he replies with: that’s what I thought but i wanted to make sure.

Final Thoughts 2

No one ever mentions that Harry “has his mother’s eyes” in this book. Interesting.

Harry and Ron get 200 PTS EACH for defeating Voldy this time when they collectively got half that for doing the same thing a year ago. Seriously, what is the inflation rate one these house points?

This book sets up everything needed for the rest of the series. After reading the first two back to back so quickly, it almost feels like the SS is a prequel to CoS - DH. Obviously it’s very important, but if someone skipped SS and started reading at this one, they’d be fine. (I am not advocating skipping SS. Don’t skip Sorcerer’s Stone, don’t skip nine.)
