I recently got really into “I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level”. So far I’m on volume 4 of the light novels! And I’m very excited for the anime that’s been announced! It occurred to me that I would love to see a crossover fanart of the series with Tensura, which just happens to be about a slime as well and probably one of my top isekais >u< But alas, I don’t have artistic skills, so take this edit I quickly made!
Imouto sae Ireba Ii #3 Endcard - Dontsugel
Bubuki Buranki: Hoshi no Kyojin #5 Opening/Ending card Illustrations - Tokumaru & dontsugel
This is probably one of my favorite doujinshi. Dontsugel’s Dolce is a Comiket 86 release spanning 26 pages in B5 format and with a semi-glossy cover. This well bound book is full of some seriously creative, high quality and adorable artwork that keeps the constant theme of fruit.
I can only find copies available at OtakuRepublic.com, but Mandarake and Yahoo.jp are always good places to check. Easily one of the best and most creative doujinshi illustrations I’ve seen in awhile.
This is the doujinshi that made me a fan of dontsugel.
Dontsugel has easily become one of my favorite artist, and this doujinshi is a perfect example. Comiket 87 release Fragment is B5, 34 pages of gorgeous imagery that’s both cute, and incredibly well detailed. Further, this book is rather easy to find and is still quite affordable. Definitely show them some love, and follow them on tumblr too. I really hope that they’ll be very successful and produce many art books!
