Jamie's lips were set in a permanent pout as she tried to look as threatening as possible, ridding sidesaddle on her most prized horse. Her father's most trusted adviser, Andrew, rode ahead, sending his gaze back every now and then to see if she'd changed her attitude- and of course she hadn't. The two week journey to the neighboring kingdom had only made her more bitter than even the reason for the journey had.

Jamie only snarled. 'See the castle'- his way of saying 'talk to the prince'. A boy she'd only met in her youth, and a peevish boy if she remembered correctly. An ass, she'd have said in private.
And, if everything went according to her father's plan, her husband-to-be.
