I remember when I learnt to read labels on the back of food packages. I was so excited I finally had some idea of what may be healthy for me. What was even more exciting for me was when I read the back of the peanut butter jar and compared it to the Nutella jar. The peanut butter jar had 51g of fat compared to the Nutella jar which had just 30. In my head I told myself that Nutella was healthier than peanut better because it had less fat. This is where we sometimes fall short in our understanding of what is healthy and what is not. What I failed to understand was that peanut butter was healthy fats and I completely overlooked how much sugar Nutella had 57g per 100. That’s crazy!!! And so unhealthy. Educating yourself on food is vital if you want to lead a healthy and balanced life. . . . #healthyfood #nutrition #nutritionlabels #donttrusteverything #saltlookslikesugar #goodhabitsforlife #nourish #nourishingtraditions #nutrition #goodfood #feedyourbody https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq68R3xHilU/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=120jm0gmgktji
