I wanted to take the time to send a very special thank you to some folks who helped make our “Jeepers for St. Jude” event such a success this weekend. . First, I’d like to thank Mr. Dave Brooks (@memphis_jeep) for all of his help it keeping the Memphis side organized. This event would not have happened without his support! Go give Dave a follow and tell him thank you! . Next, I’d like to thank the @midsouthjeepclub. These folks stepped up and helped out so much in keeping the event organized! The Mid South Jeep Club was founded in 2006, and it is the original and largest organization of it's kind in the region. Founded to fill a void in the community for riders of all skill levels, they are a family friendly organization dedicated to the lifestyle associated with Jeeps. From mild to wild, there’s something for everyone and dues are only $25 a year. #follow #youcanfindthatinyourcouch #thankyou . Next I’d like to thank Mr. Clyde Bynum and @spyderoffroad & @treadwear_apparel for hosting us and getting the shirts ready in time! You guys put a ton of work into getting your new facility ready and that new offroad course is only going to get better. Thank you also for helping us with website & the live video feed on Sunday. Be sure to give them a follow and watch the feed! It’s the best 1.5 hours of your life and be sure to drop a donation to St. Jude while your watching. #thanks #clydeandjacobaremyheros . Last, but certainly not least, I’d like to extend a thank you to @4wpmemphis & Matt Wainright and his crew for the hospitality, service and 20 dozen donuts! They were gone in a flash and everyone loved them. Word on the street is @firefightin_jeeper ate 7 dozen on the way from the donut shop but it could just be a rumor. #donutcaper . Folks, we are poised to donate over FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis. All of which came from the Jeep community. Think of how big we can make this next year if we continue to grow and rally together! We already have a tentative date so stay tuned for details. Even Caper’s Fall In Love

Hey guys! Long time no see, am I right?! Haha so today I am going to be telling you the story about the first guy I developed a crush for! Now due to privacy, I will be changing the names of the people involved in the stories, including mine, Sorry! So let’s begin this story shall we?

I was about six-seven years old when I developed my first crush. He was a guy in my school who I thought was really cute, but I was always shy. At that age, I never really knew that me liking a boy was gay because I was young. Its amazing how young a kid will know they are gay, but you would never think logically by looking at your past experiences and accept that you are as you grow. Does that make sense? Anyway! Way off topic, so as I was saying, there was a boy named, hm... lets go with the name, Kelvin in my grade and I fell deeply for him over the days we were in class together. I would get nervous and fluster around him. Whenever he came over to talk to me, I would feel so hot my head was about to burst. I still remember the way I felt to this day about him. I remember the way he looked too, funny huh? He had short spikey hair, white teeth, smelled very clean (as weird as that sounds), cutest nose, and he was just perfect! He was the sweetest guy any person could ever befriend and I was glad that I was his friend. As many pros he’s had, there were cons, as well. I remember one day I caught him picking his nose under the table and then eating it. Yea yea yea I know its gross. Grow up and get over it, we were only like 6 years old, but even if I saw that I still liked him and didn’t pay attention to that. Eventually as time went by, we hung out everyday. On the playground, after class before our parents picked us up, at lunch, and etc. Eventually, we became good friends, but not best friends because I didn’t hang out with him THAT much. I remember one day when Kelvin’s dad came to pick him up and I was astonished at how his father looked. Kelvin looked like the spitting image of his father, but more younger and less hunky. He was still cute to me though! Alas, I never got to go to school with Kelvin forever and grow up with him. Eventually, we had to move and I wasn’t that sad because I was so young and didn’t know what was happening. Once I heard that we were moving though, I distinctly remember feeling like I needed to get closer with Kelvin. I tried hard really hard to get closer to him, but Kelvin didn’t try as hard. He just tried as hard as he used to before I found out anything. I remember feeling jealous whenever he talked to other girls and whenever my friends, Luna and Phoebe, would say hes cute. I just didn’t feel comfortable. In all honesty, I never felt a strong crush like that since then to now and I am 18 as of March 2015. For some reason, I remember him so vividly and I feel like one day our paths will cross again. That day, if it happens, I will muster up the courage to talk to Kelvin and possibly ask him on a date regardless of the possible rejection. So yea, as lame as it sounds, that’s the story of the donut caper’s love at first sight, even if I didn’t end up dating him. 

Thanks for reading guys! As my first official story, I will make it clear that all this was true. The names were completely replaced to hide identities, but this is what happened from my point of view! From this story, what I hope you learned was not to wait too long and never be afraid to open up. Don’t let your emotions take power of you, friendships should never be built by emotions of love. If you have a crush on them, you should tell them. It’s okay to be different than other kids, so please don’t put yourself down. Now here’s my posting Schedules during the week, I will try to post entries every Mondays and Fridays! If I don’t, forgive me! Life may get in the way :(, but I will try to always keep to my schedule I made.
