I’m looking for help with general anatomy, but especially with the face/head. For whatever reason I just. Can’t get head shapes correct, its so difficult for me for whatever reason. Thank you for help in advance!
You’ve come a long way anatomically already; continuous exposure to anatomical studies and the likes will help you continue improving. As for head structures:
You might find that ‘simple’ exercises can help you get a grasp on the structure of the human head.
One such thing could be drawing skulls, maybe even tracing skulls. Then, overlay your skull drawings with sketches which map out the primary features of the face. Try this with a lot of different angles. By studying the structure of the skull and learning how our features map onto that, you become more aware of the major characteristics and more familiar with how they work in 3D space.
You can save these diagrams you’ve made for later use.
The rest of your composition is relatively strong, so I have no doubt that you ‘ll be able to pull this off with enough practice.
