It sucks when a car serves in front of you to avoid hitting something and you're not able to swerve around the debris so what happened to me on my way home from my doctor while visiting friends was that I was the one to hit the debris in the road since I couldn't react quick enough and whatever that debris was it totally destroyed my tire so I luckily was rescued by AAA which I truly am grateful for. #aaa #emergencyroadsideassistance #debrisinroad #flattire #donuttire #towtruckdriver #rescued #transgirl #nissansentra (at Bordentown, New Jersey)
It's good to be back on the road again with my brand new tire. I'm all stressed out nursing my car home from upstate NY near Ithaca, NY but luckily I'm a member of AAA who sent a tow truck driver promptly who changed my flat tire replacing it with my donut tire and I'm now 80 miles outside of Ithaca closer to home with about 175 miles and 3 hours left hoping my donut tire will holdup so I don't have to spend a night at hotel and go to an unknown mechanic tomorrow who can overcharge me. I'm driving no faster than 40 mph and when cars are approaching from behind I have to keep pulling off to side of road which is quite unnerving. Many thanks to AAA and the tow truck driver. I'm just glad it didn't happen when I was driving my son back to school yesterday. If I make it home safely on my donut tire for rest of my trip I will be truly grateful that my donut tire held up long enough so I can go to my mechanic tomorrow and thankful to AAA and tow truck driver and if my donut tire happens to blow out propelling me into a fatal car accident where I die then I would have to say it's my fault for using improper judgement of taking such a risk driving on my donut tire for 240 miles rather than shelling out the money for a hotel and an unknown mechanic. I am not sure what my outcome will be but I will follow up if I'm not dead!
