I was wondering if you could make a tutorial for the edits where there are moving white lines over an image please?
yeah ofc! sorry this took me so long to answer, ive been a bit busy lately <3
just an fyi that i use adobe photoshop cc 2017 to make my edits but any version of ps should do, other than that im not entirely sure what programs are able to do these kinds of edits.
1. ok, so! just start with finding and image wherever you usually find them, crop/add psds/textures etc. to your liking, however you would usually do.
2. now to doodle: make one layer for each frame you plan on having, i tend to prefer 3-5 frames. on each layer, draw whatever you want over your image. to get the moving effect, draw something slightly different in each frame, we’ll get to making the gif in the next step. in terms of the brush, white 1px often looks the best but you can really do whatever you like!
3. making the gif: create a new frame animation by opening the timeline window (window > timeline) and selecting “create frame animation” from the dropdown menu. once you’ve done that, make a number of frames corresponding to the amount of doodle layers you have.
then, you should toggle the doodle layers so that only one is toggled per frame (ie frame 1 has doodle 1 toggled, etc.)
once you’ve done that, you’re basically finished! i would just recommend playing with the frame delay depending on how fast you want the gif. to change the frame delay, select all your frames (select the first then, holding down the shift key, select the last) and from the drop down menu at the bottom of the thumbnail, select whatever frame delay you’d like. i would recommend a frame delay between .1-.4 seconds.
you should probably also set it to loop forever, which can be done from the drop down menu at the bottom where it says “once”. then play to see whether you like that timing or would like to change.
if this doesnt answer all your questions then i’d recommend checking out @chaoticresources as they have a wide variety of tutorials there, hope i was able to help!
