dmc fandom doompost thought: if DmC 2 did come out, whatever format it is: game, comics or show, and if it turns out to be of higher quality, the promo for it is good, the creators have no flak & just genuine want to see it made creative flexibility or something, good merch, everything was made well, nothing goes awry, etc...
Chances are that the main hardcore DMC-only fans will not support it. And they'll be so proud of their un-growth
It's the doom cynic in me and also the past decade of seeing these people drag everything down if it's not their favorite flanderized Dante and Vergil co.
Y'all have a reputation & it's knowing none y'all will want anything quality, creative and new about this franchise.
It's the Swifties of the gamer world.
Go ahead and get ready for five more seasons of Shankar's dmc netflix and his version coloring dmc 6
But once a DmC 2 comes out and if it happens to be leagues better, i know y'all absent.
Don't blame the reboot if Shankar takes over dmc 6 and onwards. Blaming a one-time installment by devs you've put death threats on & the "neutral" ones excusing the vile fans' behavior over the years, it's fucking getting old.
I don't care anymore what the devs said, it's nothing compared to what you've done, and especially among other fans you've harassed/doxxed over the years, and they left
Should've said this years ago but hey now Capcom couldn't care. Shankar is making the money for this franchise, whether you accept it or not
If Shankar's version remains the only thing popping up about dmc in the next decade, all i pray is he never touches the reboot
