The Backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the Bore Hole. Please see Photo for a diagram. INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Install Latch (2) Glue in wood adapters with a hot glue gun. (3) Secure your door plates by tightening your Knobs (4) Drill pilot holes and fasten Your Door Plates / Rosettes with wood screw (5) Then Adjust the door knobs and Bolt securely to the Square Side (Flat Side) of the spindle.
