Anyways. The game is called Dream Scape, and it takes place in a futuristic world where scientists formed a government organization called ‘Mind Central Inc’ where they test the effects of human minds and the subconscious especially with lucid dreaming, you, The player also known as ‘Traveler’ were chosen for one of the latest experiments for this test.
You are put into a coma, but the come itself doesn’t work like normal comas really, its more of a constant deep sleep state, you still have full control of your body and can awaken at any time, but due to the fact that you are currently under government supervision and test monitoring this is probably impossible without someone controlling or monitoring your body to allow you to wake up.
Throughout the game you travel through different ’worlds’ called Mind Cities there have been created by yourself and your perception of the world, this would be heavily inspired off Dream / Weirdcore.
However the further you go the darker and more weird and dangerous it gets, mainly because you are then traveling farther and father inside your own mind, experiencing suppressed memories or traumas that then animate themselves as monsters you must avoid.
The monsters themselves I haven’t designed yet and I’m still working on a design for Traveler, though the name may change later. 😛
