They never wanted this. They never needed this. Fame and fortune traps you like a defenseless animal. The partying. The fans. The sex. The drugs. Desna was always a quiet boy, never assertive and maybe just a little bratty. Nothing unusual. His sister's boyfriend (Bolin) lived in the North with them for a year or two as teenagers. A highschool exchange program. Why is that important? Well Desna was convinced by Bolin to join a band with him and with Desna's own cousin Korra.
