New Delhi: India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has given samples for dope tests thrice from January to May this year, according to National Anti-Doping Agency data. In this way, he became the most Tested cricketer in this period. According to the new list released on NADA's website, a total of 55 cricketers (male and female, 58 samples) were tested for dope in the first five months of the year. Most of these samples were taken out of competition. This means that the figure of samples collected from cricketers this year is likely to be much higher than in the prior 02 years. According to statistics, NADA had taken 54 samples of cricketers in 2021 and 60 in 2022. Rohit Sharma was tested the most times in the years 2021 and 2022. Rohit was tested 03 times as per the data of National Anti-Doping Agency in these 02 years. Virat Kohli was not tested in 2021 and 2022 as well. Around 20 samples were taken for women cricketers in the year 2022. In the first five months this year, only two women cricketers Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana were tested out-of-competition once each. Dope test samples taken in INDIA:- Rohit was tested 03 times as per the data of National Anti-Doping Agency in these 02 years. Virat Kohli was not tested in 2021 and 2022 as well. Around 20 samples were taken for women cricketers in the year 2022.
