Update: CAS will make their decision in 3 months or later (likely before or around AO 2025). In cases like Sharapova it was done swiftly (around 3-5 months), but in cases like Halep it took 9 months. To spread some positivity: CAS can totally overrule WADA's appeal, accept it but with changes (e.g. "smaller" punishment like banning Jannik from playing a few months, not 1 to 2 years like WADA suggested), or they can accept the appeal (worst case scenario). For Jannik, it is good news that CAS tends to side with tennis players and in Jannik's case, he had three seperate hearings which all declared him innocent. Not to mention, WADA wants to ban him but they don't want to take his titles and points - which is very contradictory, meaning they think he isn't guilty but he shouldn't be allowed to play - makes zero sense. All in all, it will be a rough couple of months for Sinneristas so we should all support Jannik as much as possible. Hopefully fans in Turin will show him he's loved and supported. 😔❤️
