doppio is sitting on the counter digging into a bucket of halloween candy when you walk into the room. he looks up at the sound of your footsteps, mid-bite. “happy halloween!” he exclaims, mouth full of chocolate. he jumps off the counter and wraps you in a tight hug. “i can’t think of anyone better to spend it with,” he mumbles into your neck. then he pulls a bag of your favorite candy from his pocket and holds it out to you expectantly. “a sweet treat for my sweetheart!”
