i feel like i would have enjoyed alexandras character a lot more if she was played by a professional va (i watched in filo dub). i was so excited to watch in the fil dub pa naman bc its more in tune with the theme of the show considering its based on philippine mythology and stuff. in the end medj disappointing nga lang :/

dont get me wrong, i love alexandra as a character and i think she was very well written, but the voice acting throws me off because it fails to portray alexandras character traits. i know liza was intentional with making alexandra sound monotonous to give off coldness, but i think it definitely would have been better for her to use that tactic selectively ykwim?? i didnt feel the impact of alexandras presence and i didnt feel her power. it definitely tuned down the level of interest i had on her especially given that shes the main character :( it gave off the vibe of how it feels like reading an essay where the writing is composed purely of simple sentences and repetitive concepts. all in all, alexandras character had so much potential in the filo dub specifically, and she could have been so much better if her personality was successfully shown through with the voice acting (thats actu why i feel like a lot of us enjoyed and got attached to the twins screentime because they were portrayed more naturally by their va HAHAHAHA)
