Seafoam Green Hair 6/18/13

I haven't used color pencils in so long. At first, I almost went with watercolor but then I felt like I was going to butcher it and I just couldn't bear that thought because her face came out so pretty. It was my first time drawing a decent nose... in...awhile. I think I kind of get it but I need to keep practicing noses and shading.

I love this look. I wonder everyday why I didn't dye my hair in college and experiment with crazy colors because it's something I always wanted to do... colored hair (aside from blonde, red, light brown). Now that I'm working, green hair isn't exactly an appropriate professional hair color to don at the office lol. Lately, I feel like I'm secretly a hipster that never was inside lol. I had this realization as I was sittign in my room meditating with my aromatherapy oil diffuser on HAHA.

She looks so hipster but I love it. I love green. And I love seafoam green. Maybe I'll do more of these colored hair hipster series...? Yay or nay?

Michael Kors F13 RTW

I really liked Michael Kors Fall 2013 RTW collection so I decided I would sketch a few of my favorites with of course a touch of my own doreese details! There we’re a lot of others that I liked but I always like drawing dresses so that’s what I did. I really loved everything about this collection- the colors palette, textures and silhouette. There was a lot of leather going on mixed with that electric blue color and bright orange and golden yellows. I also love how the collection presented both women and menswear on the runway together. It definitely accented that masculine theme going on even within the womens’ pieces- the broad shoulders, over-sized coats, the stiff peplum cuts all the while still keeping that sexy feminine vibe. Overall, the collection I’d say was very “matrix” toned down to ready everyday wear!

It is just sad to know you love certain animals and are so set on calling others supper. Sigh.

It’s sad that you can’t distinguish between a pet and what someone was raised eating as ‘supper’ for a typical American and that you had to send me such a snarky, judgmental message. While you may find, chicken, cows, pigs and etc also as pets, perhaps from how your household is like and what foods your were raised eating- that is not how I was raised. And while I am not here to proactively support the slaughtering of animals for processed meats, I was raised eating beef, pork and chicken my whole life. And I will most likely continue to because it isn’t some bad habit one can just quit in a few days- otherwise many Americans would ‘quit’ meat after watching just one documentary on processed meats, but they don’t bc why? Not bc they don’t desire to but bc it’s genuinely hard and lack the human willpower since they grew up their whole lives eating meat.

So please take your ewwww messages and ignorance somewhere else, bc they are not welcome here. Thanks and bye!
