Morning dearies, over the years, there have been different speculations or should we say myths surrounding Breast Cancer. However, thanks to modern research on the cause /signs of breast cancer, there have been the creation of facts to these myths. I will highlight some of the common myths surrounding this deadly disease with the facts/truth.... Myth:Breast Cancer happens in older women. Fact :All women are at risk of getting breast cancer, while the risk of being infected by the disease increases with age. Myth:Women with a family history of breast cancer are the ones who typically get Breast Cancer. Fact: Research has shown that most women who get Breast Cancer have no family history of the disease. Myth: Women with more than one risk factor are the ones who typically get Breast Cancer. Fact: A majority of women diagnosed with Breast Cancer have no risk factors outside of their gender.
