iliana needed this after everything that led them to this new court. they weren't as untrusting as others were of starlight, though they understood why they would be starting to point fingers after these less than ideal circumstances. the witch knew she could trust the starlight court, at least for now, having already known of their existence with the rest of her court, and why they had to keep their identity a secret. she was excited to finally explore everything it had to offer, but was also riddled with so much grief with the lives that had been lost up until this point. not just her own but the ones she could feel from others around her as well, having silently repeated mantras and inner healing spells for those who were open to accepting the help. she knew it wasn't going to fix everything but if it had the possibility of helping someone she figured it wasn't going in vain.
"which one speaks to you? i'm grateful wherever." and she means it genuinely, looking back at dory as the pair have found their new suite in luxeria, two beds greeting them against the wall, and she finds herself at peace, perfectly content to be here, and glad that this was something they got to choose for themselves in spite of everything. though there was a bit of distance between the two however, and she tilts her head to the side as she thinks this over. "...I think we should push them closer, though. I think i'd miss you too much."
