I think its extremely weird that in almost every relationship Miriam has made, it uses some kind of trope that makes the relationship "technically legal," the main example is Julia and sahed or tony, at the beginning of the series, Julia is 17. She is not 18 or 19, shes 17. Sahed and tony are way over the 100 mark in their age. Now, later in the series, Miriam changes julia's age, not for this reason, but because she didn't want people to be confused about why she could drink alcohol. Why would you make a character that can't even drink yet, have a romance with someone over the age of 100? In hooky, Dani and Dorian are both put in situations where they're asleep* for 3 years, which makes them 16 but mentally still 13 or 14. This wouldn't be weird if they didn't make them have romances with 18yrs. This is also weird combined with the fact that she made a "old enough" joke with Dorian in the series.
