It is okay to ask, I’m pretty sure it’s in my description actually?? I’m from Nova Scotia, Canada. My username is actually a phonetic spelling of the name of my culture, Acadien, which were french colonials who settled in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick before they became British territories. Blah blah blah, expulsion, blah blah blah, some came back, now we’ve got about 300 000 native Acadian speakers (of which I am one) and Nova Scotia has its own French school board, the same school board I’ve been part of since I started school. We learn Standard French at school, though, because there’s no set grammar system for Acadian and it’s just kind of easier to teach Standard I guess??
