Silly Senketsu-Mun. You and Rory are already shipping. And it's a ship I support more than Ryuko x Senketsu. I hope to see you two write more headcanons of the Dorkamuis!!

“I--” The words caught in his throat. He so desperately wanted to assure her, to dismiss her question, yet the words simply would not come.

Of course not! I could never hate you, Jun! He could hear it clearly in his mind, the words he wished to speak. They echoed inside him as his mind flashed between memories, memories of starlit nights, memories of battle, memories of joy, of comfort, of love, yet also memories of anger, of fear, of pain. Above all, Ryuko’s face blinded him. Her eyes reddened, her expression gleeful, almost insane, the lapels of Junketsu draped over her cheeks. He tried to look away, to avoid the memory yet everywhere he turned that horrifying sight followed.

Externally, his eyes were on the floor. Silence lay all around him as he stood immobile, shaking. He knew Jun would see him like this - knew she would doubt herself, knew she may despair - and this pained him more than any of the memories could.

Finally, he looked through Ryuko. He looked through his memories, realized his true feelings, what he had felt for Junketsu all along. Coming to a decision, he met her eyes, stared straight into them.

“For a long time, Junketsu, I was angry at you. I was afraid of you. Yet despite that all, I... pitied you. And that was enough to forgive. I never did hate you. I know you were never truly evil.”

Senketsu’s grin widened at her response, a small chuckle escaping him at “boyfriend material” before he leaned more heavily on Junketsu’s head, carefully tightening his grip into a hug.

“Well then, perhaps you wouldn’t mind if I did this!” He declared, hopping gracefully off her shoulders to land on the ground before her, spreading his arms out to his sides as he reached the floor. He had intended to spin and bow to her - showing off his acrobatics - but the weight of the items he was carrying threw him off balance and nearly toppled him as he spun.

“Ah-woah!” He cried, swaying a moment before catching himself. “I-I’m okay! I got it!” As he steadied himself with his arms spread wide for balance, a muffled clattering escaped from his insides. Finally, he smiled up at her once more.

“It’s good to see you again, Jun.”

Dorkamui dates where they go to a sauna for a day and just soak up mist, not saying a word but enjoying each other’s company

Dorkamui trips to the gym where Junketsu runs track and easily beats all the humans and Senketsu’s using his flight mode to play basketball with a huge crowd on the court

Dorkamui nights where Senketsu uses his flight mode to carry Junketsu above the skyline because she can’t fly on her own but he wants to show her the stars unobstructed by city lights

Dorkamui mall hangouts where they just go from store to store looking at cute outfits and fancy accessories, never actually buying anything but learning more about each other as they go

Dorkamui nights where Senketsu has a nightmare and can’t sleep, so he sneaks into Junketsu’s room and hangs himself on the wall only to wake up in her arms

Dorkamui meetings where Senketsu’s playing piano in a public place and a mysterious singer with a beautiful voice joins in from behind him, and when they finish the song he turns around and sees it was Junketsu

Dorkamui troubles where one of them runs low/out of blood and the other carries them all the way back home to get them more

Dorkamui trips where the two of them go adventuring together for a day or two and just spend their time together, hugging, cuddling, singing, playing, laughing, talking, sleeping, reading, gazing at the scenery

Dorkamui development where Senketsu teaches Junketsu to see the beauty in this world more and more, while Junketsu teaches Senketsu to have more faith in himself, to be happier

Dorkamui dressup where they break into Satsuki or Ryuko’s wardrode and spend an afternoon trying on outfits, accessories, headbands, skirts, pants, shirts, shoes, gloves, socks, clips and so on untill the owner of the wardrode catches them and throws them out
