Dorkvision: Now it’s a Charity Stream!
Hey everyone, in light of the current upheaval, I wanted to make a difference when we play our regular Roll20 D&D stream. I know we don’t have a huge following on twitch, and I’m not rich enough to donate a ton of money on my own, but I still want to do something to help.
The Massachusetts Bail Fund
So, I am encouraging everyone to donate to the Massachusetts Bail Fund (https://www.massbailfund.org/). They pay up to $2000 bail for low-income individuals! I’ll have the link available to chat and posted on our Twitch page. Even if you don’t watch the stream, I know I at least have a large Tumblr following, so I wanted to get the word out there encouraging all my 10K+ followers to donate at least a dollar to help the brave people protesting; risking their LIVES protesting in many cases... something I never thought I’d say.
My Donations: I want to try and match $5 for each sub I get during this time. I’m also going to donate $5 per crit I roll... and I tend to roll a often since I’m the GM.
Charity Duration: The charity will extend to both our Wednesday (7 PM eastern) and Sunday (9 PM eastern) streams until the protests subside (hopefully after being met with reform as well as justice)
