About Tumblr’s New Guidelines
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know that I draw only SFW content. I don’t post NSFW anywhere, because it,,, doesn’t exist. I don’t draw that stuff. BUT. Tumblr is absolutely garbage when it comes to handling NSFW/SFW content. I have to manually comb through my gallery pretty often to make sure their completely broken screening bot doesn’t mark all of my content as NSFW just because I tagged it as furry content. I also just forget to use it because I honestly... Don’t really care for Tumblr anymore. This was a great place back when I started posting in my freshman year of highschool, but I’m a college student now and I don’t interact with the community much. I find the community is way more active and interactive on Twitter than it is here. I’d attribute that to a better sharing system on Twitter, but don’t get me wrong, Twitter is hell too. At least it does what it’s supposed to do, though. Anywho. I’m over on Twitter, my account is @art_kitkat if you wanna follow me there. I’m way more active, but it’s got a lot of personal content on it (like me gushing about my boyfriend), so if you can put up with that to see my art, go ahead n’y’all. I will keep this blog around, but I probably won’t bother much with it anymore. I’m reaaaally tired of fighting Tumblr’s flagging system, plus this site just,,, has gone downhill soooo hard in terms of quality. I’m not even talking content, just the design of the site itself has only progressively gotten worse lmao. TLDR: Follow me on twitter, tumblr eats ass in terms of handling NSFW flagging, I won’t be posting much here anymore. It’s been fun guys, thanks for the good years :)
