If Rowan is being truly honest, she’s a little surprised Dorothy decided to put down roots in Olympus. A small town equipped with only one stoplight and a handful of local businesses --- Dottie seems a little grandiose for the environment she had ended up in, but then Rowan supposes maybe a change is what she needs. Besides, she’s happy to have her cousin so close now, eager to make her feel welcome in their little corner of the South and help her get her bearings and get back on her feet, knowing that the last little bit has most certainly not been easy on the brunette. They had spent the majority of the day organizing and sorting through things, trying to make the house Dottie had purchased into a home, rather than just a place to sleep at night. But when they had finally finished with the last box --- or the last box that Rowan could get her hands on, anyway (for all she knows Dottie’s got about a thousand more stashed away somewhere she couldn’t see), they had decided to pack it in and head into the city for dinner. The drive isn’t very long --- a little over an hour, and Rowan is more than grateful to get out of the Olympus town limits for a little bit. It is and always will be her home, but sometimes she feels like she’s suffocating there, now more than ever. So getting away, and with Dottie especially, is more than welcomed. The cool night time air is enjoyable as they move from the car to the restaurant, and Rowan shoots her cousin a smile reserved strictly for her. “Bet if ya never see another cardboard box it’ll be too soon, huh?”
