Runi is Runi. Very few of my characters wear labels. Also I won't reveal anyone's preferences before those revelations happen in the comic, unless they're trivial, like Iralee being a lesbian since her deer wifeys aren't in the comic, or Dorus being a little bi-romantic because it won't be explored either.
Personal headcanons are fine unless they've been unproven by me. Don't make my gays bi or pans straight, let them be what they are. And be careful with those headcanons. What I don't like is people replying to other commenters claiming to know my characters' sexualities that have been left vague, and then it becomes fake canon. Do not. Don't do it.

My first inspiration was just the fact I wanted to make a comic. I drew them a lot in my childhood so I always had the drive for it. After that I just wanted to create a world for the types of characters I enjoyed to write.

Cutlass and Riptail are longtime partners, Rip being gay and the original Cutlass (who belongs to SmolderBone on dA) was bi if I remember right. Iralee's romantic preferences were revealed in one of the bonus comics — she's a non-monogamous lady-liker. As a trivial little treat, Dorus (Nero and Runi's dad) is a little bi-romantic, confirmed in this piece I made for a pride collab.
I also had a loose thought of Kasko's mother being lesbian since Kasko has no father figure in his life, and there's a panel on page 155 where a doe is leaning on her during their hard time. But this is so vague you can just choose your own headcanon.
Runi did indeed have a blushy moment over Nero's Usma comment, but I won't confirm anything!
