Mickey doesn't press Zoe to talk. She will when she's ready. Meantime, he can practice what she taught him about the bass. Music is good for baby brains, right? In the end, though, it's Mickey who breaks the silence first. 

"Zoe? Please don't be mad at me. I'm sorry if I was tactless and hurt your feelings. You know Jessie and me'll never be serious." "I know you'll never be serious about me." "Zoe -"
