i think one of the most silly things people say is that "everything happens for a reason". i understand that it feels really nice to think that way, but sometimes shitty things just happen and theres no reason for them at all. its not the universe/god/whoever putting you thru pain to find a reward or lesson later on. i dont think anyone deserves to go thru a tragedy and then live the rest of there life looking for that reason why. sometimes horrible things just happen.
