POKER NIGHT AT THE INVENTORY REMASTER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAA YES IMSO EXCITED!!
Tbh I thought it was going to be lost media forever, so glad they’re bringing it back!!
What if you were eternally square. 🟥🟦🟧🟨🟩🟪🟫
oh no
I keep hearing people talking about how bad their 2025’s were but tbh I feel like it was a really good year for me :)
Op have you ever looked into the cartoons by UPA studios? Your art reminds me of them in a cosy nostalgic way!
Yes I have! I think Madeline has to be my favorite, but I love referencing anything with that particular style. That and ligne claire, pretty much anything from that 50-70’s era.
hiiii I saw one of ur Deltarune comics and i loved the style, but also it looked like it was done in watercolor?? I was wondering if you use physical watercolors then scanned it or you have some sort of method for getting that look on digital. I was staring at it for ages it looks so good........
Tysm for the question!! I do everything digitally, but I do have some tricks to get the traditional watercolor look.
First I duplicate my lineart to another layer and apply a 4% gaussian blur effect to it, before setting the opacity to 40%. This creates the effect of an ink bleed. It’s subtle, but I find it makes a very big difference!
I’ve zoomed in the pic to better show the details
Next after I’ve finished painting with my watercolor brushes (I typically do a flat underpaint before adding the actual colors on a separate layer), I add in a watercolor texture set to linear burn. Then, I fill in another layer with gray and add a 30-40% noise filter to it. This is then set to overlay with the opacity set to around 30-50% depending on the piece.
And there you have it! You have a digital piece that looks more traditional! This is just how I do it personally, so feel free to play around with different settings and techniques 8>[^D]
i’m still reeling over the fact my one spamtenna comic has almost 20k notes. like i appreciate all the support but also you guys scared the bejeezus out of me
do you think spamtenna are sam and max coded. I'm not too well versed in the sam and max games and I wanna ask a sam and max fan before I make my judgement
I think they’re similar in a lot of ways! Namely being the dynamic of a tall guy and his 3 foot tall insane boyfriend shjhdk. Plus they both have doomed yaoi vibes. I won’t spoil anything, but the devil’s playhouse absolutely destroyed me.
But I also believe they’re polar opposites in a way. Sam and Max would fight tooth and nail to find the other again if separated while Spamton and Tenna have developed a mutual hatred of each other in their absence.
