Oof, another hurtful thought:

Thinking about Izuku coming back to UA, finding the aftermath, seeing Katsuki laid out on the ground and Jeanist and Edge still working on him.
He of course has a visceral and emotional reaction to seeing this and being informed that Katsuki legitimately DIED. The warning signs that he's about to lose control start to show; heavy breathing, glowing, electricity from OFA firing off, blackwhip manifesting, etc etc...But at the same time, he tries to go to Katsuki
Jeanist sees and notes some worry at the situation...Monoma looking on suddenly connects it to the joint training arc when he taunted Izuku about Bakugou; "This is how he was back then--"
But then Aizawa yells in over the comms (lets assume for the moment they work again once Izuku's in range??).
"Midoriya!! Get to Shigaraki!!" Izuku's still glowing, but stops. "I know how you must be feeling... But Bakugou is with Jeanist and Edgeshot. You have to leave them to it! Shigaraki is still a threat!"
Izuku stops in his tracks, but still drowns in emotions.
Just, Aizawa trying to talk Izuku down enough for him to stay focused on the mission.
Just, Aizawa trying to reach out to Izuku.
