Bugged Title: The Mind of Rage
Of Choices and Logic, as well as External Overriding and Passion
“You /\/\ade a lot of /\/\istakes that I could e><ploit. But the biggest one was you /\/\aking /\/\e /\/\ad.”
- Jofner Kuthno, Trollian Heir of Time, upon defeating the PK in his session, a Thief of Blood
I spaced out and made this, just deal with it, this has been in the drafts for a month.
Double Aspect Bugs are a bug where two aspects are assigned, and the normally esoteric analysis of what a Class of Aspect does becomes even more esoteric because you have two concepts to manipulate and no set way to manipulate them, which means it’s time to embody two wild concepts like the avatar and hope you don’t burn out and die.
Mind is about decisions and logic. Mind players analyze things, assess every point, and then act like an axe to execute it. And Rage too is like an axe, inwhat is symbolizes. It sees things the way it wants to see things and distorts them to their own ends. So trying to reconcile those two concepts would result in analyzing a situation, scoping out every action to take, then flying into a tranquil, focused rage and not letting anything get in the way of your schematics. Like, if there’s a gap that needs to be closed so you can get to the other side, you might look around and point out that maybe you could knock a tree over to make a bridge. Then enter a trance and TEAR THE TREE FROM THE GROUND AND TOSS IT TO THE HOLE!!! Alternatively, Indy Ploys are your friend, walk in with no plan, an objective, and make it up along the way, hammering out the finer details.
How To Play a Mind of Rage
Look at things like a puzzle, and know that you can bend the pieces
Basically be MacGyver/Troll MacGyver
How to Die a Mind of Rage
Be attentive, you can’t just bash around, there’s a method to your madness
Be assertive, if there’s a kink in the plan, unkink it forcefully
you will also die if you spend too long laughing at that last sentence
[Use Your Head]: Use Rage and Mind on yourself to force yourself to think about something. If you’re looking at an abstract poster and can’t find the picture of a dog in there, [Use Your Head] and slam your brain against the wall of your skull to spot it. Be careful though, as you may actually slam your brain against the wall of your skull. But if when you wake up, you will know.
[Right To Raise]: Use your planning as a weapon. By increasing the risk or absurdity of your plan, astound anyone who looks on to the point where they’re baffled and get crushed by the weight. Using [Right To Raise] by detailing how you plan to drop a chandelier by tossing a lighter at it doesn’t work, at best, it would give a slight nudge. Detail how you plan to defeat the enemy by tossing a table at someone, quickly snatching their box of matches, toss one unlit match at the chandelier, and a lit one at the drapes, whip the firey drapes at someone, and then let the rising heat light the match to burn the rope holding the chandelier up, and people will be driven to irrationality. So much so that they can’t think about how that doesn’t work. But you’re a god, so it will make itself make sense.
[Angry Carpenter]: The polish to a plan, for when everything is going right except for that one hitch. Glare at it to make things okay again. Scope out a joint and get every detail planned, but the door you needed to get in is locked when it’s usually not? Glare at it and unlock the door. On a boat and you need to find an island, but no crow’s nest? Those piles of wood know better than to not be a crow’s nest. The extent to which you can rewrite reality to make a plan work is actually kind of funny!
