TBH IDK what continuing it would be????? Like I'm not a writer, that is like the absolute best of my ability lol, so don't expect anything more that that. But like, I love talking about this dumb thing more than most things in the world so if anyone ever wants to come at me w random sitcomy things that they could do I will be fully on board to rambling w anyone about it.

I can give my thoughts on the overall happenings of season 1 tho!

SO Harry and Niall were already deep into their many years long on and off FWB situation, their fist scene together is probably post sex high five hand holding over their good workout. VERY EARLY ON maybe even the end of the pilot the audience is let in on Niall maybe not seeing it as totally platonic bro jobs and is actually being in love and pining for Harry. So thru s1 it's just misadventures of these two idiots and their comical sex mishaps (there’s AT LEAST one embarrassing trip to the emergency room), and each have other ppl they hook up w, maybe some even last a few episodes and they always call their thing off during those stretches and we watch Niall pine even more and come close a few times to TELLING and maybe one episode in February sweeps he actually does but like Harry is drunk or takes it as a joke or something goes wrong and it's not a thing. SEASON FINALE he gets to tho and it... Does not go how he hopes. Harry says no? He had no idea and he's just never thought of it and it's AWKWARD And nialls CRUSHED but trying not to show it and it ends in this horrible stilted "WERE STILL FRIENDS RIGHT? WERE GONNA BE OK?" "YEAH ALWAYS." That should sound way more reassuring than it does. 

Liam and Louis right from the pilot we KNOW they are supposed to be together but they have NO IDEA. there's this LOOK at the end of the episode that anyone w a heart dies a little over. The first episode is probably actually Liam and his girlfriend he thought he was gonna be with forever break up and everyone (but LOUIS come on) has to band together for him.  And like so many of the early episodes are Louis trying to take LIAMS mind off it and just showing him the best life and having so many dumb dates of their own. Around mid season Louis realizes he's totally completely massively in love with Liam and it's AMAZING (for us) bc he is the biggest idiot and brat about it. OVERLY AWARE OF EVERYTHING HE DOES around Liam now. A lot of WHAT DO I NORMALLY DO W MY HANDS face moments. A lot of being jealous of anyone who tries to talk to Liam, like even the old lady down by the bakery. And like insisting that he go to the laundry mat with Liam JUST IN CASE..... Someone like tries to steal his washer? There's probably an episode or two where Niall and Louis come out with it to each other, maybe Niall notices Louis bc you can't NOT and is like, so... You too huh.. And they commiserate over that and try to help each other and there's an episode they go to a bar determined to find new people but it's just them at the booth at the end of the episode admitting they don't wanna find anyone else. So ANYWAYS LILO reach a breaking point a few episodes before the finale and hook up. Maybe they just went to a wedding or something so romance is in the air or it was just a GOOD DAY they had so much fun, they went on some dumb adventure that they loved because the other was there and then there's just on the couch at the end of the day and they're leaning in and BAM. WOW. The next episode picks up while they're still making out and then you hear keys in the door and it's opening and they're flying apart and it's Harry like with some story about a box of oranges he found in the elevator or a squirrel he’s trying to befriend. So it's awk and they go their separate ways w/o talking and there's one or two episodes of awkward, confused, freaking out stuff, like what did they DO. But season finale they sit down and talk about it and really open up and lay EVERYTHING out and come out with like I want you I like you I can't imagine doing anything without you you make me so happy and they get one of EPIC LIFE CHANGES HUGE SMILING TRUE ROMANCE kisses. 

ANDDDD season one ends I guess similar to himym s1 with LILO massively happy coming home to a broken hearted Niall wrapped in 3 blankets eating a hugely dumb thing of ice cream and watching harrys favourite movie love actually. Liam gives him a big giant warm hug and Louis a kiss on the cheek before he goes to check on Harry.

Top 5 episodes of this years season of DOUBLE DATE DIRECTION

(x) DOUBLE DATE DIRECTION is my favourite romcom sitcom about four best friends, two couples, who are just trying to figure their way through life and love. 

i personally LOVED the episode where they took a road trip and the car broke down in a deserted area w no cell reception and narry had to go travel on foot to find help and lilo stayed to watch the car and getting little frustrated w each other but by the end declaring their love for the first time only for narry and a to truck to find them in a compromising position in the back seat at the end of the episode. the narry subplot was just as nice w them finally repairing their friendship after the mess their FWB oops feelings stuff ended in last season. 

GAME NIGHT was just a CLASSIC for me. just a nice low key bottle episode, these four guys playing games against each other, before lilo got their shit together and narry were still having their fun, lilo being furious they keep losing, the sorest losers ever, sayng that harry and niall shouldnt even be allowed on the same team bc they have “some weird sex mind link going on” LMAO and narry weren’t even TRYING they were just naturally great together, and got to be smug assholes about it to drive lilo even crazier. just a great feel good episode. 

it pairs SO WELL with the more recent PING PONG THROWDOWN too. BIG narry episode. really tugged on my heartstrings when they hugged, like the closest theyve let themselves get since it all went down last season. and niall still being so open and throwing out “everything we do”, like we’ve known about niall’s feelings for ages now, but harrys face at that really felt like him finally realizing what he let go??? MAN.  and lilo took a bit of a backseat here, but once again, lilo as sore losers is comedy gold and then just giving up the game to find a coat closet felt like the perfect end note. [different episode but i wanted to make note of it too: HOW GOOD was it a few eps later when harry finally set on his love for niall and wanted to win him back and lilo just stood back and judged all his flirting techniques] x

FLASHBACK EPISODE!!!!! BACK TO WHEN THEY ALL MET EACH OTHER IN UNI. M A N it was so wild seeing liam and louis not get along???? like i think they referenced it in the past but just LMAO WILD. BUT THERE WAS STILL THAT SPARK THERE RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING DAMN, that little look louis gave liam when he was leaving the dorm after he distracted him from freaking out over his final??? DAMN. and OH MY GOD NARRY LOST THEIR VIRGINITY TO EACH OTHER WHICH I GUESS STARTED OFF THEIR IDIOTIC FWB THING. god right off the bat they were HUGE DUMBOS. ALSO LMAO THEIR HAIR AND CLOTHES.  

man, HOW FUN was the episode that nialls mom came into town and he had told them he had a boyfriend to get the off his back and he asked LIAM to fake it with him. like not only is louis grumpy niall didnt ask HIM he… does not do as well w liam boyfriending for someone else as he liked to think he could. also GOD harry having all those weird feelings about it SO GOOD.
