~let the games begin~

Red burst into the lab, "Doc! You have to hurry!"

Doc looked up at him startled, "Red?!-"

Red grabbed his arm pulling him toward him roughly, "they're coming you have to run!" he sounded rushed and panicked.

a click and clattering noise sounded from across the room and a sudden hissing filled the air...

"doc..you ha..have to run" Red said his eyes dropping desperately trying to cover Docs airways with his hand,

Doc grabbed him as thick smoke started to form around them, "wait...run, Red?..."

The man started to slip forward, mumbling "...need...to..stop them...doc....run...ru.."

Doc grabbed him "Red?!"

Doc felt his eyelid get heavy as Red slid down him, waves of shadowy images took over his vision "red...wh...." 

The blackness won and both of them crashed to the floor in a heavy tangled heap, the hissing of the grenade starting to fade as the room engulfed in the thick smog.
