So, I’ve started with a series of weapons based off of mythical creatures, and this is the first sample.
“Chymera” (yes THE chimera, but with a “y” instead) are daggers of a set of two and they represent the lion’s head and the viper’s head.
The viper blade has the diamond scale pattern that most vipers develop, but instead of just paint, other “scales” are separated by tiny grooves that channel venom at the press of a button on the hilt, for extra dangerous strikes, like the Chimera’s tail.
The lion blade looks simpler, but the metal, while painted with an imprint like a lion’s mane, has small flecks of an acid all over the metal, for burning cuts, to signify the Chimera’s fiery breath.
The hilts have painted on them the eye of the corresponding predator and are silver and gold respectively. Both hilts have a leather strip for an easier and surer grip
Kudos to @mariathehomicidal for the criticism involved in making these.
