Actually you got me curious. Tell me more about the parallels between Wilbur Soot and Victor Frankenstein (if you'd like)

ABSOLUTELY I WILL THANK YOU FOR ASKING!! (keep in mind that I'm not actually done with the book yet but I have a general gist of misconceptions between the films and the novel itself)

L'manberg is like Wilbur's monster. He constructed it himself, with grand visions and hopes of what it would be, and it was supposed to be beautiful. L'manberg was a drug empire turned home built with his own two hands, and it was his pride and joy.

But then he was faced with the reality of a country, and under Schlatt's rule it was something he never wanted, something that horrified and disgusted him. It wasn't anything like what he had intended, and even if L'manberg and its rulers hadn't necessarily wronged him, he despised it because it wasn't his.

Victor made his monster to be beautiful, 8 feet tall with the most exquisite features he could find from looting literal corpses. But then when he finally brought it to life it was horrid, and it scared him. (don't really know what the hell he was expecting from revived corpse bits but that's not the focus today)

(this parts stretching a bit cuz like I said I havent read this far yet but)

The creature demanded that Victor build it a mate so he did, but right before bringing it to life he destroys it

Closest link I can find here is Pogtopia. Wilbur creates it, but then he basically disowns it once his paranoia gets to him and he believes that he can't trust any of them

that's all I got but I simply think it is Neat to think of L'manberg as Wilbur's monster, his creation that haunts his conscience
