My sweet Baylee... Where do I start.... yesterday my brand new baby girl was diagnosed with a congenital Vision defect. She’s blind. We don’t think she’s completely blind but her vision is severely impaired. Why?! How?! Irresponsible breeding! The breeder, no the puppy mill as it turns out, that she came from, has no business breeding these pups if she’s not going to do it the right way! Baylee is considered Double Dapple which are known to have multiple birth defects and are not supposed to be bred. Much less sold for profit! The proper authorities have been notified to hopefully shut her down so that no other puppies have to suffer because of her selfish greed! The breeder did offer a complete refund, IF I returned her. Only to put her down.... That being said, Baylee is home with us and will forever be a part of our family. We love this baby now more than ever. Her special needs only means she gets extra special love and care from us. I will give her the best life possible and as normal a life as possible! I honestly believe everything happens for a reason and I think Baylee was meant to be a part of our family. God knew she’d need extra care and attention so he sent her to our crazy hectic home to get just that! #blindbaylee #minidachshund #doubledappledachshund #welovespecialneeds
