Anybody have any conspiracy theories about the latest chapter? I sure do, but I have no idea how to word it -v-

Things i like about the newest chapter of DDVAU

Saw someone else do this so i thought i'd do it myself

Starting strong we have:

Look at this man. Most certainly up to funny business.

The man up to funny business:

Look at his little hops, AND THE LITTOL FANG. Ofc he's charming everyone within a 1metre radius

Next up, whatever shitfuckery they have in order to draw hands this well, not to mention the sudden gentleness that hotguy has when not faced with a threat or social situation? Also the fact that he had to check grian was breathing, the intimateness of it, the fact that he's willing to get close to grian but never touch him. Scared but not scared enough. Also 'hes breathing, what a relief'? does seeing grian in a state where he's not fighting back make him think he's dead? Also THE EMOTION ON HIS FACE.

THIS PANEL EXUDES GRIAN'S DISTASTE. But also a hint of worry? In the way that his eyebrows are slightly raised and his body language is slightly closed with his arms. But hes also slightly relaxed. Hotguy has come into HIS space without HIS permission, he owns this room. Also the sudden change in lighting, going from cream to a harsh purple. Also, in this panel grian is looking down at hotguy. HEight difference anyone? Also his pose is giving annoyed cat vibes (reference provided below)

next:

this man is DONE with Hotguy, hes ready to kick him out; but what's this? a sign of affection? HOW DARE HE. he really thinks he can come in here, threaten me and then think we're friends? he has every reason to kick him out

in contrast, hotguy is questioning himself. seeing grian asleep has him SHOOK. maybe he's used to dealing with 'pure evil' people, but knowing grian personally, and seeing him in a state where he cant fight back makes him feel stuck. how is he meant to solve the case when the person isnt the problem?

contrast of his face when talking to someone and his face when he's alone. When he's confident and talking his ears are perky and his eyes are hidden, but when he's alone its the opposite. Also i love the slight turmoil in his expression

this pose is my gender somehow, also i love the foreshortening on the arm and hand, and gems messy hair

the shading!!! is that a bit of blue in there? how does this even make sense i love it

ok quick explanation

on hermitcraft skizz's bow is called fail guy and when looking in the ddvau reference sheet i saw that skizz's job was "accountant(no one asks what you do when you say accountant) "

so my brain was like skizz =emerald soilder

I've already come up with a complicated lore, but whatever.
