@daronrahlves skiing the Sharks Fin in the latest issue of @backcountrymag . While Rahlves made it look easy, this line has exposure to high consequence. The most dangerous aspect is the fall-line (just out of view) that leads through and onto cheese grader rocks. @c0nnery featured in the November Exploration Issue of @backcountrymag . Inspiring to watch Connery ski. Agility, acrobatics, grace and power often being displayed all at once with this young Jedi. This day started at 4 with Connery and @jeremyjones skinning under a bright moon. I wanted to stop and shoot moonlight shots, but didn't cave to the temptation as my priorities were set on the sunrise shots and couldn't afford the time to be late. While I regret not getting those moonlight shots, we have the memories and the decision paid off. Despite breaking trail through deep snow, we finished changing over just as the sun gleamed into the #tahoe basin. We climbed and rode 3 laps , the last on a sunny, south facing slope in blower powder. A memorable day. Looking forward to more adventures with Connery and Jer. • Love early season light for the sun being lower on the horizon and opportunities to ride aspects in powder that would normally be cooked by the sun later in the year. Happy to see my image of @codytownsend featured Dropping In, @tahoequarterly Ski & Ride issue. Cody is one of the most talented #skiers I've ever seen and worked with. He's professional, creative, motivated, great to be around and hard working. Cody saw this shot and executed it while on the fly, racing the fading light, making it look easy and fun.
