📌 douma defense ≠ douma worship
I’m not here to say Douma was a saint. He wasn’t. He did horrible things. He was a demon, and yes, that includes killing people. But what I am tired of is the nonstop misinformation, double standards, and straight-up bullying thrown at anyone who says they like him.
Some of y’all act like:
liking Douma = agreeing with murder 💀
analyzing his character = defending his every action
seeing depth in him = automatically “romanticizing evil”
Meanwhile, Akaza fans will literally gloss over his past crimes AND his human ones, and Shinobu fans can call Douma a rapist or pedophile with ZERO canon proof, just because it makes them feel morally superior.
No, Douma didn’t show lust. No, he didn’t simp for Shinobu. No, he didn’t “groom” Kotoha or Inosuke. He’s an emotionless cult leader demon who thought he was saving people — it’s twisted, yes, but it’s also complex. That’s why some of us find him interesting.
Stop acting like fictional character analysis = personal morality check. Let people explore flawed characters without turning it into a witch hunt.
