dovewing & petalfur minis!!

i really wanted to make dovewing's mini with my design. also i'm sad that petalfur is so unpopular character and her own merch will never be released ahem .

Dovepetal - 29 moons - CraterClan warrior - cis male, he/him - bi

A somewhat tall white tom with lilac spots, thin fur on his face, belly and paws, one folded ear and a blind right eye.

Dovepetal was born alongside his sister Featherspots. He had always been sickly, especially as a kit, and had his apprenticeship delayed due to it. He didn't mind, though - it meant he could spend more time with the slightly younger Shinekit! The little molly was his best friend, and once they became warriors, his beloved mate.

Sometime during his early warriorhood, Dovepetal's right eye became infected because of his poor health, and eventually went blind. During the time he had to get it treated daily, he befriended the young medicine cat Petalsong despite their differing personalities and often found himself going back for minor ailments. In the past, he would often wait until his various illnesses got bad as to not bother the medicine cat, but now that he was comfortable around Petalsong, he felt okay with bothering him every once in a while.

His relationship with Shinefeather seemed perfect, and Dovepetal's life was going well - and got even better when Shinefeather announced she was having his kits! The couple were overjoyed, but their happiness didn't last. Shinefeather died during birth, leaving Dovepetal to care for Risingkit and Ghostkit alone. Another monarch nursed them while Petalsong helped the new father deal with his grief, despite the medicine cat himself having fallen in love with Shinefeather before her death.

Dovepetal does not know of his best friend's feelings for his deceased mate, but now that his kits are apprentices and he has started to move on, finds himself feeling similar things for the medicine cat...

He is the brother of Featherspots, father of Risingpaw and Ghostpaw, mate of Shinefeather (deceased) and crushing on Petalsong.

(Petalsong belongs to my lovely friend @comehomemothman who has given me permission to put him in this story <3)
