Hi, Amy. I kinda feel dumb asking you this but where can I find a program that screen records what I'm watching without watermarks? I'd like to record a UJ commercial that is airing on Portuguese television to publish @brunomarspt and so far I just found recorders that do image and sound with watermarks. Would you help me? Btw, I love your blog and I'm Inês ;) Thank you.

It's not dumb at all! I'd be glad to help :)I use something else now on Mac but before, I used a software called Bandicam. The free version has a small watermark at the top of the recording screen (instead of in the middle) but it doesn't affect the visuals very much. I find it to have a really good quality capture. Hope that helps!

Hi Amy can you please give me the name of the program that you once posted which can help us watching videos that don't play in some regions like for example MTV USA videos, I want to watch a couple of Bruno's videos there and I can't watch them because I am not from the US. :(

I use Hotspot Shield for anything that requires a US IP address :)

You’re not going to find them very easily by googling but you can download straight from these tumblr posts :)

To do that, you can use the TumTaster extension (for Google Chrome) or the XKit 7 extension music add-on (available on all web browsers). There’s also the DownloadHelper add-on for Firefox which grabs almost any media on any website :)

Hi Amy, do you know a free programme where I can convert a for example 3GP format video into a WMV-video, so I can burn it on a DVD-CD and play in on my TV? I can only find a thing called Movavi but then I have to buy the programma ^.^ . I wondered iff you maybe knew more about it :) thanks!

I haven't needed to convert videos in a long time but I used to use Super. It can convert between pretty much any format :)

Amy, I'm sorry to bother you, I got a question. Can I somehow save this video Le grand journal that you posted from their site? I try with that Video Download Helper, but does not succeed to me. Is there any other way? Thank you. :)

It’s no bother at all! Le Grand Journal in particular, has placed restrictions on their videos so you can’t grab the video using the methods I talk about (i.e. Video DownloadHelper and Replay Media Catcher). For this one, your only choice is to screen record the video. If you want to try this for yourself, I recommend Bandicam (on Windows) - the free version has a watermark. Nowadays, as I have a Mac, I screen record using Quicktime Player (combined with some other tools).

I’ve uploaded a medium quality record on my vimeo already if you don’t want to do all that :)

Hi Amy, do you know how i can dowload the audiopost of Bruno's Angelic Voice? I mean the way you could also download the Today FM interview, where i could just save the link. Thanks :)

You can save and get the links to tumblr audio posts directly on the dashboard by using a Google Chrome extension called Tumtaster :)

I tend to grab media by using the Video DownloadHelper extension on Firefox. That's how I got the audio from Today FM's website player to upload onto my 4shared for the anon request. I didn't get that particular one from tumblr as it was uploaded onto SoundCloud (which had no download options provided).
